The obvious next single from M’s shot at an RnB-spiced album hits the shelves with a swag of remixes (hunt them down online) and a disappointing video that looks like it was pieced together with outtakes from a Marie Claire photo shoot; probably because it was.
I’d guess that this song is squarely aimed at the clubs rather than the airwaves, judging from the unadventurous suite of remixes. It’s a shame that the style leaders weren’t hooked into the studio, rather than the stagnant creativity of dated house DJ Paul Oakenfold, the tribal beats of Eddie Amador, or the over-complicated mess of Jody Den Broeder. Stick with the album version for the simple sparkle of this rather nice effort.
