Returning to Adelaide from March 7 - 9, WOMADelaide celebrates the planet’s rich and diverse cultures over three nights and two spectacular days of music, arts and dance.
This year’s festival will see more than 400 artists from 17 countries perform in the city’s Botanic Park. Highlights include the landmark production Murundak: The Black Arm Band, a celebration of the Australian Indigenous struggle through music (pictured); the world’s leading exponent of Pacific contemporary dance, New Zealand’s Black Grace Dance Company; and Romania’s colourful and mischievous Taraf De Haikdouks, described by UK newspaper The Independent as ‘the best gypsy band in the world’.
